Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

Orbit - Finance App (“Orbit”, “we”, “us”) operates the service at https://www.orbitfinance.cc. For privacy and support questions contact blueprofessional9@gmail.com. This is the same user-support email shown on our Google OAuth consent screen.

Company registration details will be published here once the legal entity filing is complete. For support and privacy requests, use the contact email above.

2. Google Sign-In and Google user data

When you choose Continue with Google, we use Google OAuth so you can create or sign in to an Orbit account. Depending on the scopes you approve, we may receive:

• Your Google account email address
• Your basic profile information (such as name and profile picture URL, if provided)
• A unique Google account identifier needed to link future sign-ins

How we use Google user data: only to authenticate you, create and maintain your Orbit account, show your name/email inside the product, and send essential account messages (for example sign-in or security notices). We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not share it with other apps for their independent use, and do not use it to train unrelated AI models.

Storage: Google Sign-In identifiers and email are stored with your account in our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) and related workspace records, encrypted in transit and at rest.

Sharing: Google user data is processed by our infrastructure providers solely to run authentication and the app (for example hosting, database and auth). We do not disclose it to third parties for marketing.

You can revoke Orbit’s access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account permissions settings, and/or delete your Orbit account by contacting blueprofessional9@gmail.com.

3. What else we store

• Account data: name, email, authentication method (Google or email/password), plan and billing status when applicable.
• Business data you enter: revenue, costs, suppliers, bills, stock, tasks, locations and related settings.
• Staff data you enter: names, roles, hours, wages, bonuses, amounts owed, documents you upload and performance figures.
• Technical logs needed to keep the service secure and working (for example IP and device signals used for session security).
• Preferences stored locally in your browser (for example theme), which are not sold or used for ads.

4. Why we process data

To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to authenticate you (including via Google), to bill you and keep required records when paid plans are active (legal obligation), and to keep the service secure and reliable (legitimate interest). We do not sell your data and we do not use your business figures for advertising.

5. Where it lives and who can see it

Data is stored in a managed European cloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted per business at the database level, and wages and profit are further restricted by role, so a staff account cannot read another person’s pay. On our side, only people who need access for support or maintenance can reach it, under confidentiality obligations.

6. Processors we use

Hosting and database / authentication (including Supabase), Google for Sign-In when you choose that option, email delivery for account messages, and payment processing when paid plans go live. Each acts only on our instructions to operate the service.

7. If you enter staff data

You are the employer and the controller for your employees’ data. You are responsible for telling them what you record and for having a lawful basis. We process it only to run the service for you.

8. How long we keep it

While your account is active. After you cancel or delete your account, your data stays available for 30 days and is then deleted, except records we must keep for accounting and tax purposes.

9. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. Export is available in the app where provided; for anything else email blueprofessional9@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in, remember workspace preferences and remember your theme choice. No advertising cookies.
